my projects.

SUPERMATIC

Supermatic is an ongoing project I come back to. Overall, this is a website used to order all comic book video media, from the MCU, to the DCU, and so much more. Yes— it’s nerdy. I’ve put 200-500 hours into this project from full website creation, social media management, copy/blog writing, team management, copy editing, graphic design, light coding, etc.

HEROARCHY

Heroarchy is a small project I’ve put over 50 hours on. Similar to Supermatic, this project is based on the cinematic worlds of superhero media. This one is a fully-functional and printable collectible card-based game where you can pit characters against one another.

NINTENDONEXT

NintendoNext is a previous project I worked on with individuals I met online. It was a hub for anything Nintendo (gaming). I spent over 100 hours on this project between podcast recording, editing, website, social media management, design, etc. The podcast is still available on Spotify.

INTOXICATED

Intoxicated is an old YouTube series from 2020 that I hosted with my now-fiancée. We would delve into the world of silly conspiracies whilst intoxicated, mid-Covid. This was a wonderful opportunity to grow in my video editing skills as well as make the most of a trying time during the pandemic. I spent upwards of 200 hours on the 5-episode fully-produced series and plan to get back to it for another season at some point.

SCHLAACKA

I’ve recently started live-streaming on Twitch and TikTok, cultivating a unique community. My content is based on engagement as opposed to gaming being at the forefront of the content. Due to this, there is a deep involvement in design and user experience in each stream. I’ve put in 20 hours a week on average on this project at the beginning of 2024.

SCHLAACKAGAIN

Schlaackagain is an account I have repurposed to second my Schlaacka pseudonym. Using this account, I aim to use any influencer status to bring attention to social issues and awareness in mental health, LGBTQ+, disability, and more. I have been creating shareable graphics and continue to build this into more.

HOW DO I KEEP UP?

I cannot emphasize how much I adore design as a concept. I spend 8-10 hours a day, weekends included, sitting on my computer, storyboarding, or designing via Adobe, Canva, OBS, and other programs to create reliable and intentional work. It’s what I love to do and I am thankful to live in a time in which design is becoming more and more accessible and involved. I believe we are in an incredible era of design and I love evolving alongside the work.
